My name is Camille. I enjoy cooking for my family of 5! I consider myself a picky eater! Growing up I wouldn't eat very many foods. As I get older and get introduced to different foods I am learning to appreciate more new and different kinds of food now! Since taste is very important to me I wanted a spot to put my favorite recipes...so here it is!

Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas

These steak fajitas were almost better than Chevy's Fajitas ... and that's saying a lot because I love their fajitas (honestly, that's probably because we don't have one in our town so it's a rare occasion when I do get to go. Needless to say, they are still very yummy!) This was a convenient way to utilize the frozen (and somewhat old) steaks that are still in our freezer! I got this recipe from Six Sisters Stuff and will definitely make again!
Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak
1 small can (4 oz) diced green chilis
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 cups water

1 onion
1 green pepper

Soft tortillas (you have to have the uncooked tortillas from Costco...definitely worth the extra 2 minutes!)
Cheese
Salsa
Guacamole
Sour Cream
Corn
Tomatoes

Directions:
Cut sirloin steak into bite-size pieces. Place steak in slow cooker with chiles, soup mix, and water and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.  Slice onion and green pepper into strips and saute in olive oil.  Take meat out of crockpot (I use a slotted spoon) and place meat, onions, green peppers, and whatever other toppings you like on your fajita (I listed what we put on them, but you can use whatever you like).
