My name is Camille. I enjoy cooking for my family of 5! I consider myself a picky eater! Growing up I wouldn't eat very many foods. As I get older and get introduced to different foods I am learning to appreciate more new and different kinds of food now! Since taste is very important to me I wanted a spot to put my favorite recipes...so here it is!

Frozen Peach Smoothie Mix

This recipe is from and old friend's mom that I haven't seen in a really long time! My mom makes this recipe and always has bags of it in her fridge ready to pull out and make a delicious smoothie. It's a good way to use up fresh peaches.

Frozen Peach Smoothie Mix
(from Jean Brady)

13 medium peaches (peeled and pitted)
1-2 cups sugar (whatever you prefer)
1 (15 oz) can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup lemon juice (about 2 fresh lemons)
1 1/2 cups orange juice (about 3 fresh oranges)

Mix together. Put in quart freezer bags. Freeze.

When ready to make a smoothie, cut a portion off of the frozen smoothie and bag (sometimes I defrost it in the microwave for 30 seconds first.) Put in blender with any combination of your favorite smoothie ingredients. My favorites are yogurt, strawberries, milk, orange juice, wheat germ, and oatmeal.
