Apple Crunch
from Kathy Burton1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
Mix all together until crumbly. Press half of it into the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.
2 cups apples...peeled, cored, sliced (about 4-6)
Lay sliced apples on top of flour mixture.
1/2 cup sugar
2 T corn starch
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
In sauce pan, combine ingredients and stir with whisk. Cook until mixture thickens. Then pour over apples. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
