My name is Camille. I enjoy cooking for my family of 5! I consider myself a picky eater! Growing up I wouldn't eat very many foods. As I get older and get introduced to different foods I am learning to appreciate more new and different kinds of food now! Since taste is very important to me I wanted a spot to put my favorite recipes...so here it is!

Quick Beef Stroganoff

Here's one of my recipes when I need a quick dinner idea! The sauce can be made in the time the noodles are cooking!

Quick Beef Stroganoff
from Leslie Jennings

1 lb hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup Sour Cream
1 (3 oz) can mushrooms, drained
2 T ketchup
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Rice or egg noodles

Start boiling water for the rice or noodles. Brown hamburger with onion. Add the rest of the ingredients to the meat and onion and heat through. Serve on rice (my favorite) or egg noodles (my hubby's favorite!)

**I don't like to chop onions. It's not really the crying part that I don't like...well maybe part of it is! But it's the smell on my fingers, the time it takes and I'm not very good at it (I always get some really huge pieces and I'm just not good at cutting onions...) So, I have resorted to buying dehydrated chopped onions for my food storage and dump a 1/2 cup or so in with my beef when I brown it and it has been my favorite thing so far! It's easy, quick and my kids can't tell that there's onions in their food!! Yay!
