My name is Camille. I enjoy cooking for my family of 5! I consider myself a picky eater! Growing up I wouldn't eat very many foods. As I get older and get introduced to different foods I am learning to appreciate more new and different kinds of food now! Since taste is very important to me I wanted a spot to put my favorite recipes...so here it is!

Bread Stick Glaze

I was super duper excited when I came across this copy cat recipe of the Pizza Factory Bread Twists at http://www.creationsbykara.com  Now, I won't make bread sticks without this glaze! Now you can try to make the bread twists just like Pizza Factory or roll out bread sticks (or snakes like my kids would say) or go the easy way out that I'll show you in a minute. Either way, the real secret is in baking the breadsticks first and as soon as you take them out of the oven you brush them with melted butter and this super yummy glaze! Enjoy! ...but try not to eat too many!

Easy Bread Sticks
(adapted from Tami McArthur)

1 1/2 cups warm water
1 T yeast
2 T sugar
3-4 cups flour (enough to make the dough not sticky
1/2 tsp salt

Combine all ingreadients. Knead in mixer for 3 minutes. Let dough rest for 10 minutes. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray, roll out dough directly on pan, ten use a pizza cutter to cut into strips. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

*Honestly, when I'm in a hurry I don't wait for the dough to mix, rest and rise that long...but with that said, it is best if you do!

Pizza Factory Bread Twist Glaze

2-3 Tbsp melted butter
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dill weed
1/8 tsp Italian seasoning
 Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Brush glaze on bread sticks as soon as you take them out of the oven! Then try not to drool!
